"Friendly and lovely place. Our room was small but it had everything we needed. Jo kindly left us croissants and yogurts for the morning and was very flexible with check-in. Askrigg is a beautiful village. It’s certainly worth a visit if you are a fan of James Harriott!"

"Nice place, the DEN once I found it, but to be fair I probably didn’t follow the directions , what can I say? i’m a bloke. The property itself, very nice and secluded on a working farm - we had all manner of animals sharing the patio with us, chickens, roosters (no they didn’t wake us up), ducks, goats, peacocks… Enjoyed it "
