"Stayed as a family in a suite. The room was fabulous and a great size… we did pay for a 2 bed suite and part of it was locked but the staff were great and able to go unlock the 2nd room for us (this was the one with the kitchenette and sofa / dining table). The hotel is lovely and well staffed. Room was very clean and does show some wear but no major issues. "This was not what I expected. The listing states “just a few minutes walk “ to restaurants, shops, etc. I’m thinking that walk would have been 20-30 minutes…and getting back would have been all uphill. The property itself was ok. Provided what we needed…but definitely furnished and equipped as cheaply as possible. It could use some new paint on the walls, or some cleaning of walls. Also to get hot water upstairs - there’s a switch on the wall in hallway. Would have been helpful to know that...
