"The breakfast was very well done. The pillows could be better. The place was very clean. I think small mirror in the bedrooms would be good as the bathroom is shared. Also i think little tables in the bathrooms would be nice so you would have more place to put your toiletries. Parking was great and convenient. Thanks Peter for your hopitality "

"We had a serene and relaxing visit at Hillcrest B&B. Noeleen is a wonderful host and gave us wonderful suggestions where to visit and hike in Yeats Country and beyond! "Our weeks stay at the Herdsman’s House a few kms from downtown Sligo was magical. The accommodations were as advertised, impeccably clean, spacious and cozy at the same time. Spectacular views of Sligo Bay and the surrounding farmland. Sheep and cows in pasture surround the Herdsman’s House. "This was not what I expected. The listing states “just a few minutes walk “ to restaurants, shops, etc. I’m thinking that walk would have been 20-30 minutes…and getting back would have been all uphill. The property itself was ok. Provided what we needed…but definitely furnished and equipped as cheaply as possible. It could use some new paint on the walls, or some cleaning of walls. Also to get hot water upstairs - there’s a switch on the wall in hallway. Would have been helpful to know that...
