"Great hotel for a few days of sight seeing, very near the ferry point to Valetta. Lovely rooms water fonts available to refill your own or hotel provided container. Bar area has beautiful views over the harbour with a great happy hour and you can also sit there for breakfast with the floor to ceiling windows/ doors opened back. Breakfast has lovely menu options and a good buffet alongside. "

"We had a nice stay at the Diplomat. Right on the seafront. Didn't get a sea view room but we could still see the sea from our balcony. Nice clean room with complementary slippers and bath robes (bath robes are not for keeps though). Friendly staff. Plenty of options at the included breakfast buffet. There's a bus stop about 30 seconds walk outside and the buses are frequent and easy to use. Just jump on and pay a fixed fee which gives you about two hours of travel. Can't be used for a return journey though, you have to pay again to come back but it's only 2 euros so cheap as chips. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Also has a spa, a gym and there's a pool and sun terrace on the roof which was deserted both times we went up there so we had it to ourselves. Has everything you want really. Recommend."
