"It was a convenient location. It was good to be able to leave the car outside the guest house, and for it to included in the price. My husband and I enjoyed the views from the bedroom window overlooking the bay. However the bedroom was smaller than we expected. The staff and customers were friendly. We expected our 'own' bathroom to be in our bedroom, as opposed to being on the landing next to our bedroom. "

"Everything was perfect for us , not far to walk to sea front / high street shops , we didn’t have the breakfast at the property as not always early risers , we would definitely stay here again , a lot of places in Scarborough don’t have their own parking or if they do there’s extra charge and with hubby having mobility scooter the parking was essential for us .A big Thankyou to the lovely hosts , keep on doing what your doing , fantastic 👏"

"We had a fantastic 1 night stay here. Val, the host, was super friendly and welcoming. She couldn't do enough for us and made a lovely breakfast. The location is great, 5mins walk into town and ideally situated for exploring the Yorkshire moors, towns and coastlines."

"What an incredible stay we had. A beautiful room and the most delicious of breakfasts. We were so spoilt having homemade sourdough bread each morning. We were made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Pascal is the most amazing host, so friendly and engaging. We would recommend this to all. 5 stars do not seem enough to rate this! "Very friendly welcome, help taking the suitcases upstairs, nice bedroom with plenty of drink sachets and toiletries. Very comfy bed. Absolutely fantastic breakfast with plenty of options for vegetarians. Great location neat to the south side cliffs. Handy for the main town. "

"Just back from South Lodge and want to say thank you very much to Steve & Tony. We arrived early and the rooms were ready, they were spacious, clean, beds were comfy the decor was lovely. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of and not for the fainthearted. Parking at the property spot on as you dont always have that luxory. Well stocked Tea & Coffee in the room and the homemade cookies were very tasty and a chocolate finished off the welcoming. Toiletries were top quality. Nothing was too much...

"Nice B&B with very friendly staff. No on-site dining other than (very good) breakfast but several pubs within a very short stroll - 1 to 2 minutes and Yorkshire coast town Filey just 3 miles drive away. Also a very good distillery with excellent cafe on the edge of the village"

"This property is in an excellent location opposite the harbour with amazing views. The room was a good size and warm considering the freezing weather. It seemed to be recently decorated with a modern bathroom. Lots of wardrobe space and a king size bed. However, there were some issues in the room including a very scaly kettle, only 2 teabags, 1 shower gel, no glasses, no bathmat, flat batteries in tv remote, and only half a loo roll.
