"I absolutely loved spending time here! It brought me right back to my childhood growing up near Embden Lake, spending summers in the lakeside cabins. The amenities were all great, exactly as advertised. I will say it's a little tricky finding it in the dark! I'm looking forward to my next trip to Maine so that I can stay here again! "

"It was a delight, with beautiful Great Pond and inlet close by. The house itself is rustic, spacious and comfortable. Its L.L. Bean history added to the charm. The space heaters were welcome. The location, on a spit of land near the end of a long dirt road, but convenient to the Belgrade Lakes town center, was most enjoyable. We'd definitely recommend it."

"If you are considering this cabin, do not hesitate to book it. It is absolutely beautiful, perfect spot on the lake and still close to many local venues. We enjoyed a beautiful fall weekend and cannot wait to go back. Denise was the most gracious host and made us feel at home. We were able to fish off the dock which is just steps from the front porch. Beautiful sunsets and listening for the loons was a favorite. Wish we could give more than 5 stars! "

"Accurate listing, great location (easy drive to Augusta for dinner), really peaceful and quiet. GPS had a minor problem right at the end trying to send us through a neighbor's trailer, but we figured it out (the external pictures helped). Loved our stay there, even though it was just overnight on the way to somewhere else. Next time, we'll stay for a week."

"Had a very pleasant stay. Great fishing and pond is very quiet only saw a couple other canoes had 2 labs with us and they enjoyed the pond too, just be aware that the neighbors are very close, wasn’t an issue for us but if you have dogs that are bothered by strangers it might be "

"The camp was quaint, great kitchen! Unfortunately there was confusion & communication issues with our host not being notified that we had booked property. We received a refund from the host for the nights we didn't stay due to propane running out. The host had intended to have camp closed up the week we had booked."

"My family and I loved the cabin, it was surrounded by other cabin's, but the neighbors were respectful and kind, happy other renters. The swimming was awesome, we all loved the lake access. The cabin had fun games, the wood appearance throughout was beautiful, We’d stay again next year! "

"We had a fantastic time at this property! The cottage was cozy and had everything we needed, even coffee. Vince gave us a tour and let us know everything we needed to know when we arrived. The kayaking was amazing. We got so close to bald eagles it was breathtaking, we were simply awed. We saw eagles, osprey, herons and so much wildlife. We cannot say enough wonderful things about this lakefront destination. Spacious, comfortable, welcoming, close to any forgotten or needed supplies, a few steps to the cleanest pond, able to have the boat we rented at the dock, wonderful neighbors...
