"The cabin lives up to its name as it is very cozy and the views are spectacular. We had northern light shows both nights we stayed there and loved the sauna to warm up after a cold day on the glacier not too far from the cabin. The owner communicated very well and check in and out was very easy. We loved that the cabin is off the beaten path but also a 20 minute drive to restaurants and shops in Borgarnes. We would definitely stay here when we visit Iceland again. "

"We really loved the peaceful setting of the cabin. It felt so spacious for our group of two! The views were wonderful especially the glacier in the distance. It is definitely quite a ride into town so we were glad to have brought food to cook there. It was a great spot to access the Snaefellsnes peninsula which we did in one day. "This cottage is well placed for exploring the west of Iceland, with Snaefellsness Penisula, Reykjavik and the golden circle route all within easy driving distance. Shopping and cafes can be found in Borgarnes, about 10 minutes drive away. It also provides a good view to the north and west in the event of Northern Lights.
