"Lovely place with everything for a very nice stay. Well appointed property in a quiet part of the bay. Well equipped and set out. Only downside is that it was not perfectly clean with cobwebs and spiders in three rooms. Not something I enjoy dealing with. Fridge door was still dirty. And lock flew off bathroom door as soon as we opened it. That said it did not spoil our stay or enjoyment of Filey and all it has to offer."

"We have had a great October break. The cottage is beautiful, clean and in a great location. Ideal location to walk the coast into Brid and back (land train optional). Short distance to Filey. Scarborough - where our children enjoyed Peasholm Park feeding the squirrels. Hosts also provided Sewerby Hall entrance tickets. A great week had by all. 😊 xx"

"Lovely apartment but needed a thorough clean. Walking bearfooted floors felt gritty and a little sticky. Wooden cabinets in kitchen and living area full of greasy fingerprints. Duvet had about a two inch bloody looking stain on it, brought it to their attention, it was returned later in the day in same condition. Sorry to complain but it really spoilt what was otherwise a lovely stay. Nice staff."

It’s a good-sized property, well-maintained, and generally clean but there were dog hairs on one of the sofas and it definitely smells more like dog I. 2024 (on the ground floor only - the upstairs is immaculate) than it did in 2023. "Very nice modern apartment in an older building. Very clean and spacious well equipped. Only let down by hall way from front door to stairs. Bicycle blocking hall all weekend. Downstairs apartment had left household rubbish laying around. Not the fault of apartment owner."

"Excellent property. Very comfortable, well-equipped, and thoughtfully decorated. Great communication with the hosts, they were very helpful.
