"Just returned from an amazing break at Vila Kalcuni. This is a beautiful hotel, located in a lovely part of town, only a few minutes walk from the ferry terminal, bars, restaurants and shops. It’s positioned on a private beach with stunning views of the bay. Vila Kalcuni is a real retreat set in lovely surroundings. The pool and bar area is very new and is immaculate. In fact the entire hotel is spotless and extremely well maintained. Probably one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed at ! The room was very comfortable with amazing views from the balcony. Breakfast was very good, fresh and plentiful and is served in a lovely restaurant. The manager and staff team are so friendly and welcoming, they work tirelessly and want to ensure that your stay is going well. Would fully recommend staying here and can’t wait to return."

"The road is only small, but we were able to find a parking space. Best to arrive and depart early or late to avoid traffic. The hotel is on the sea front. We didn't have a sea view, but the balcony was still nice. Room was clean and bright. Comfortable bed, hot shower. Lovely walking out the hotel onto the promenade for a stroll in the evening. Breakfast was fabulous, care is taken over it every day. Staff are very accommodating and friendly. We stayed 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. "

"This is a wonderful family hotel just a few minutes’ walk from the promenade and city center. Despite its central location, it remains peaceful and secluded—a perfect retreat. The service is exceptional; we were warmly welcomed and genuinely felt like part of their family. Visiting during the low season was a bonus, as they kindly upgraded us to a suite. The suite, located on the fourth floor, offers breathtaking views of both the sea and the mountains. If you book a double room with the same view, you’ll also enjoy stunning sunsets. While the suite was comfortable, we do wish the linens were newer and of better quality. The two brothers mainly manage the reception, and their hospitality is matched by their mother’s delicious, home-cooked breakfasts (buffet style in summer season). Each morning, we felt energized and ready to explore after enjoying her hearty meals. On our last day, their “baba” father—even offered us a complimentary ride to the bus station for our journey back to Tirana. Do not think twice to book this family run hotel."
