What truly sets this hotel apart is its unique access to both the steam train and boats, offering convenient and scenic journeys to Bowness or a leisurely tour around the lake itself. Our dining experience on the first night was a pleasure. The food was well-cooked, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast each morning offered a plentiful selection, ensuring a great start to the day. Beyond the beautiful setting and delicious food, the hotel boasts excellent facilities. The games room, swimming pool, gym, and spa provide ample opportunities for relaxation and recreation. Overall, the Lakeside Hotel & Spa offers a truly memorable experience. The combination of its prime location, convenient transport links, friendly service, and excellent amenities makes it a destination I would wholeheartedly recommend and definitely plan to return to. "Fantastic position in relation to town- lovely garden and terrace. Great staff and delicious food. Bathroom rather disappointing with very few toiletries and no extractor fan. View from rooms 321 and 322 rather sad to look out on as everywhere else in Keswick looks so magnificent! Had a fabulous stay though and plan to return next year!"
