Mila also went out of her way to help me celebrate my birthday We stayed at the very top of the property which was amazing but not for those who are elderly or struggle with a step climb. "

"Very fun stay at Cotingas, despite the tours we had booked being cancelled because of excessive rain. Needless to say, that was no fault of the hotel but it did mean we spent more time there and realized what a great place it was. Excellent location right next to the town but still quiet; lots of animal sightings, a great view--albeit mostly of rain on this occasion--and very good service from the excellent staff. We want to go back to Drake Bay and do what we could not this time--and when we do we will certainly stay here again."

The breakfast was wonderful and he was very accommodating to our large group. There was a lot of wildlife we saw from the common area including many birds and monkeys. "I loved my stay ay Oro! Clean, the air conditioning was a blessing in the heat! The rooms are a walkup, one short flight of stairs. Super good pizza and salads, 2 blocks away, beside the post office. As happens frequently in Central America, the checkin attendant didn’t spesk English, so just log in to the internet and use Google translate and all will be fine. I recommend!"
