"Cleanliness was great. Encounter with desk check in person & 2 cleaning associates created a good experience. They were cordial, smiled, respectful & made me feel like they appreciated us being there. The hotel is older & needs some minor updates but overall a decent hotel especially compared to other recent stays we have had at major chain hotels. They are in need of a larger breakfast area & more complete food options. Very limited selection & only a couple tables for guests to eat breakfast on. The best takeaway I can say is that the cleanliness of this hotel was better than a recent Royal Caribbean cruise we were on & the hotels we have stayed at over the past 5yrs or so. The hotel was full due to a festival in the town & the associates were friendly & approachable. Due to the age of the hotel there were minor bathroom updates needed but the fixtures were exceptionally clean. The beds were fine with pillow options. The carpet in our room was in good shape & clean. The hallway carpet appeared like quality carpet but perhaps older & needing an update. My cleanliness standards are extremely high & this hotel delivered. "

"We had a nice stay. In town for graduation and birthday, we received a surprise upgrade from our standard king room to the jacuzzi suite. This was extremely nice and unexpected. The place was quiet, cleanliness was fine, we didn’t partake in the breakfast but it smelled good. Ladies at the front desk were very kind. Walmart and plenty of food within walking distance. Overall for the price I am happy and would stay again if in the area. "

"We had a wonderful visit.The grandkids needed some time to run and play, the area behind the hotel had a walking path around a pond. After dinner they enjoyed the indoor pool. The breakfast had an awesome assortment of options, even our 5 year old was full when we left. We all had a nice stay."
