"It was exactly as I expected. An apartment equivalent to a eurocamp. As a family of 5 accommodation can be awkward. The accommodation was clean, bedding clean and apartment well equipped. Not many options for eating out in zebrugge if you don't want to eat in quite a pricey fish restaurant. Carre four closes at 7. Ibis foods is not good but good to have the pool to use and the bar for a few drinks in the evening. We used the apartment as a base for Bruge. The train in was very easy and zebrugge...

"Very central to main shops and tourist sites. It's very modern but still needs attention . No toilet seats no dishes to put in oven, no kitchen towels or brush and pan . The couch was very uncomfortable and was a bet that was broken. Bno information on how to use facilities. The door key code was handle was difficult at first not the key box . I would stay again if the couch was replaced and toilet seats fitted. I sent pictures to Smart flats for there attention."

"Die Unterkunft ist ein Traum, sehr gepflegt, sauber und top ausgestattet. Ruhig gelegen.Die Nordsee ein paar Meter entfernt, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten direkt nebenan, kostenloser Parkplatz. Natürlich sollte man die Vermieterin nicht vergessen Eine sehr nette Frau...Wir kommen gerne wieder."

"Nice 1 bedroom apartment at a great location ,overlooking harbor and lake. Due to the small town ,it easy to navigate by walking or biking. Close to Middelburg and Vlissingen. Hosts are great to deal with, are there when needed, otherwise will leave you alone. Only drawback is you must be able to climb a set of steep stairs, which could be a problem if your mobility is somewhat limited. Otherwise highly recommended. Bill and Mary van Veen"

"Location excellent as very near centre. Would have been good to know about the 6 flights of stairs in the property description. A number of minor issues which we notified straight away - to be fair we asked for nobody to fix them while we were there but I took photos on arrival so we wouldn't be accused of anything."

"I simply loved the appartment - its spaciousness, structure, terrace, location, a very good wifi connection, and everything that the area has to offer. I especially loved the feeling of luxury of space that this appartment offers. There were some minor issues like absence of soap, shortage of teaspoons, teacups, teapot, etc., also a worn coach in the living room. I also thought that the doors could close quiter - I think the doors are banged because otherwise it is rather difficult to close it...

"Superb modern property in Gent. Perfect location (and the building actually features as part of a tour on the Visit Gent website, but I will not give away too much about that!). Lovely rooftop balcony and top floor, which is a sun-trap so can get a bit hot in high summer"

"Hotel was fantastic and exceeded expectation, the area is super quiet, and the parking outside (Reep car park) is perfect. Would recommend to park here and not the hotel parking as that’s 5 mins away. But the parking outside is £6 a day more expensive (better to pay this for convenience) The street it’s on is the best location so no outside noise, then 30 second walk down the street and you’re in the hustle and bustle, surrounded by amazing architecture. The room came with microwave, kettle, ironing board and iron, hob too with all the plates crockery and cookware. I have to say, I would definitely be staying here again. Only one thing is the bathroom windows are quite transparent. For us it wasn’t an issue going as husband and wife. Other than that, couldn’t recommend this enough and will be visiting again. "

"This was one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff were all impeccably kind. Amazing location, very close to transport options, and also very walkable area to all the main sites. Stayed with 2 teenagers and they were happy to have a McDonald's nearby ;) Lots of local options for parents too! "
