We enjoyed our stay in Silverthorne and was great to be able to bring along our dogs. The place is a bit dated but very comfortable. The huge Livingroom is great for playing games and hanging out. Eric

Stay at Wildflower Oct 23
The place was spacious and not too far from trails and town. Great location and views! The only issues we had were that the downstairs smelled like chlorine, and that there was a misunderstanding at the end of our stay in which the late checkout we signed up for was not communicated to the maids, and we were a little rushed in the checkout process.

No help with property issues
Interior stairway was falling apart. Maintenance and up keep of the home was not good. The home management company Vacasa did nothing after two phone calls to request repair.

Older house but beautiful views
The property is older and needs the following attention: carpet is dirty/stained and old, master bath shower head fell off when turned on the first night…I had to go to Lowe’s and buy a new one and install it-playing handy man on my vacation (I left it as a gift), Rowell bar and toilet paper holders were very loose, the master bedroom has no privacy because it is open to the entire downstairs…you can’t tell from the pictures because it appears it’s a landing that looks over and out/down…not from the room itself, there were numerous lights not working and/or missing bulbs…the views and location is the reason we would rent again…especially if these things were addressed.

Pleasant cabin
It was a nice cabin, very roomy. We were disappointed in the hot tub. It was set at 105 degrees and it took us a couple days to get it lowered to where we could sit in it. It seemed like the temperature adjustment was broken, then on the 2nd try it went down, but when we were able to get in it, the chlorine fumes burned our eyes. The kitchen utensils like spatula and knives were very poor quality.

Unique cabin getaway
Beautiful cabin! Loved the layout, vaulted ceiling, huge wall of windows and hot tub. Such a fun getaway for my family! Tucked away in the woods with several spottings of wildlife (deer, moose, foxes). Easy check in and out. Thanks for a great week!

Great for a ski trip
Friends and I stayed at the property for a weekend ski trip. Great location and the snowplow even helped when we couldn't get back up the driveway.

Decent place but needs updates
We certainly enjoyed staying here - A bunch of sleeping space. Comfortable couches. However - The stove did not work. When we closed a drawer at the kitchen desk, a board fell off below the desk and exposed black mold. I'd hate to know how much is in this house... The carpet in the bathrooms is also pretty questionable.

Adequate for our needs.
The house was great for our needs. The management company needs fired. House is not as bright as protrayed in pictures. It has mid-century decor. Beds comfy. For some reason extra toilet paper kept in a pillow case in case you are looking. Only one working burner on stove. Kitchen was spacious enough. Great location.

Enjoyed Visit
Positives: Beautiful views. Conveniently located. Saw two deer and two foxes on the property while eating breakfast. Appreciated the two sets of bunk beds. Enjoyed the hot tub. Negatives: No hand soap provided in any of the three bathrooms. When we arrived, broken light bulb glass was scattered on a wicker deck chair in the far corner, as well as on the deck, which we swept up for safety reasons. Note: The upper left burner on the stove top doesn't work. The pocket doors in the bathrooms don't slide easily.

Great place to get away
Really enjoyed the property. The views were fantastic and the house was homey. The only thing I would change would be a newer bed with mattress protector.

All the comforts of home.
We all enjoyed our stay. Ample room for all. Bedrooms were a good size. Kids enjoyed the bunk beds. Games to keep everyone happy. Kitchen was supplied with a good range of pots, pans, cookware and dishes. Nice to have small soaps and shampoo for us traveling. Home had some vintage furniture and the adults did mention the beds were a bit hard. The yard was a little shabby. My husband would have mowed the lawn if there was access to lawn equipment. Overall we enjoyed the home and the view was awesome.

MOLD!! Black mold.
So this is the first time I’ve written a review for a VRBO. Great experiences all around until today. We enjoyed our stay, although the beds were so uncomfortable like others said. You can feel the springs in the mattresses. While the property needs updating, we aren’t that picky about that. However, on the morning we were packing up, a picture fell off the wall above where we slept and there was a huge amount of black mold!! There was some on the carpet under the bed, too. If they had cleaned the property at all, there is no way they could have missed this. I am afraid the people who stay tomorrow will not know. The whole house needs to be checked for mold and decontaminated to be safe. We enjoyed our stay until then. I hope they fix the house because aside from the mold and mattresses, it has a lot of great things going for it.

Nice view but needs updates
The home fit our group of 4 adults and 4 children perfectly. Although the pictures of the home present well and the view from the living room is lovely, there is a need for updates. The bedding and mattresses need replacing. Having carpet throughout all of the bathrooms was not appealing. It should be replaced with flooring that can be cleaned between stays. Several cups, and glasses were chipped or cracked, and the regular size spoons need replacing. All but 4 of them had been through the disposal. We enjoyed being altogether and there was plenty of room for people to play games, read books, and enjoy talking in the living area. The hot tub was a lot of fun for the kids.
