"This is most likely the nicest hotel in Obidos, located in the former medieval Moorish Castle and subsequent Bishops Palace, in the heart of the old city. Note that you must park outside the walls in the free lot behind a nearby bank. The hotel provides a golf cart shuttle for your luggage. The rooms are comfortable. Good included breakfast in the Bishops Palace. "

"We chose an area slightly remote and it was an oasis at the end of busy days. Very close to stove for food, groceries, sights. Had unusually bad weather and a bout of sickness so didn’t enjoy the vast grounds and pool as much as could have but absolutely would recommend this place to couples and families. Kitchen was great. Came back for a night after Porto and had the room with the upper patio/kitchen (fabulous) but was a family suite (2 rooms)that we didn’t need so much space. Tina always around to be helpful even during her early morning exercise. Andre perfect for communications about anything!! Code for gate great for our late night arrivals. Cleaned our room every day. Motorcycles like to race past on long stretch of road outside Quinta but more funny than disturbing. Lots of parking. Tight area if parking under the cover but keeps out of rain. Can drive to upper rooms to unload/load. Thank you all. Excellent!"

"What a great little place. Parking was in garage, attached to hotel. The hotel was just fun to be in. Breakfast was unbelievable! Walk right up to the wall. Would absolutely stay here again!"

"Obidos is a very touristic and beautiful walled village. Staying overnight allows you to fully appreciate the area without all of the crowds and tour buses. The hotel is located a simple short walk from the information area but do not try to carry much luggage as it is over small stoned walkways. The hotel and personnel were wonderful and included a nice breakfast."

"This place was charming and the backyard was so peaceful and beautiful. We only stayed for one night (our last night before catching our plane leaving Portugal). The rooms are on the cozy size but the huge backyard patio and garden with chickens and two friendly cat more than entertained our 7 year old. Breakfast was served early and VERY delicious and varied. They were able to accommodate one of our travel companions who is gluten free. Communication with the property easy with quick responses."
