"We stayed at Lago Playa for a week in september. Everyone was friendly and always helpful. Breakfast was always nice and dinner was surprisingly cheap compared to other places. Great food as well. Eddie from the bar gets one extra star. Really friendly service. Our room was a little cold and the blankets quite thin, thats the only minus. "Paid a decent amount for a stage facing room. Got that with a huge speaker in the way. Reception politely stated a 500 euro additional would get me another room without the obstruction- well, in reality I didn’t get what was paid for originally. If there is slick obstruction- state that in the original booking or type of room? Really, it’s just an exercise to get more £ out of you. Shame really. "

"Hospitality was great, location was perfect and the actual room itself was clean and up to date. Overall a beautiful place to stay with lots to do around and even more to eat. Should be mentioned for people sensitive to noise- the rooms are not sound proofed and the walls are thin. Don’t be alarmed by the fridge not being cold they’re more like outdoor coolers. "
