"Excellent for Camino walkers. We stayed in a private double which was a floor above the dorms. It was very quiet and luxurious. We shared the bathroom with two other rooms though we never saw the people. Check in was super friendly and informative which we appreciated. There is a fabulous communal space and kitchen which is fully equipped and has a complimentary coffee machine. There was also free breakfast of cereals and toast which started at 6am. "I stayed here for 2 days. Firstly, hotels.com forgot to send me late check-in instructions, which I emailed them about. The room was ok. The pillow was really uncomfortable. There is no lock on the room. Shower was ok. I wake up to construction noise in the morning. There is no proper kitchen and if someone is cooking you can smell it from your bed. "

"I was travelling with my family already for 2 weeks and stayed in several different places, but this was certainly the one where we were received in a way that made us feel like home. "The hostel is new and very nicely designed in a good area, 1 block from Zurriola surf beach and under 10 min walk to the old town. Bare essentials kitchen and good wifi everywhere. There is a bar/cafe downstairs and the actual dorms are right next door in a residential apartment so you need to be peaceful in there. The owners David and Haritz are two of the nicest, hospitable guys you'll ever meet who will make your stay a memorable one. Also try the salmon toastie!"

"The building holds the heat and without AC the only option is to open the window, this does not work as the street is exceptionally noisy with trucks buses and motorcycles. Also for the price, I expected it to be bigger, hot water that doesn’t run out, house keeping, or someone around to ask questions. We don’t normally complain either. Positives are it was reasonably clean and location was great."
