"Lovely hotel in a great location with fantastic sea views. The welcome and attention by the staff was excellent. The only disappointment was that the hotel bill at the end of the stay was much less than what we had already paid to Expedia."

"We booked the accommodations in the Balfour Arms in May and they canceled our reservation 2 days before we were to arrive from Australia. They offered us NO help find other accommodation , made the excuse they had double booked the room and left us high and dry. Very unhappy and lucky to find somewhere else at this time of year."

"The location was great for our purposes and the parking was good. Breakfasts were excellent, there was a nice patio and garden out the back. Well-run family B&B. The principal negatives were the noise (our suite overlooked the main road) and the very spasmodic Wi-Fi. At this price point it was disappointing."

"Fantastic short stay, friendly hosts and room absolutely spotless"

"Wonderful welcome on arrival by the owner, Sue. The room is lovely and big with a large bathroom, it's spotlessly clean everywhere with beautiful decor. There is a little fridge in the room with milk for hot drinks, a nice touch. The breakfast each morning is superb with the best eggs we've ever tasted (from their own chickens). We have already booked for next year at the same time. Highly recommended."

"The views were absolutely beautiful, such as peaceful spot in the middle of the countryside which is exactly what we wanted but also perfect for explore the jurassic coast, little coastal villages/towns and countryside. Also lovely to find somewhere and very thankful they were happy to accept our 2 little doggies (for a fee) which is not an easy thing to find .
