"Overall, staff in ALL areas (Hotel check in, in house restaurants, housekeeping, bar maids, casino cashiers, etc) were very welcoming and friendly. My room was missing an iron and ironing board and upon informing this issue it was graciously corrected. But, when first entering my “Smoking King Size Bed Room” (only room available at time of booking for father in law of 33 years funeral service) on the 3rd floor, the stagnant smell of cigarette smoke starts from exiting the elevator, down the corridor and room smelled the same. I strongly recommend adequate airing, deodorizing, shampooing rugs in corridor and especially in the ROOMS. This recommendation comes from a smoker. But, I still loved, enjoyed my stay and HIGHLY recommend it!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 "

"We absolutely loved our stay here, but we came for the experience, not the amenities. If you're looking for modern posh, this isn’t the place for you. If you are wanting a unique experience and the opportunity to spend the night in a historical location, then this is your bag! The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We paid the small fee for the evening tour and it was wonderful! There are no TVs in the rooms and everything about the place is really, really old which was all part of the experience. We would definitely stay here again!"
