"I had the pleasure of staying at Oaks Port Stephens Pacific Blue Resort in Salamander Bay, and it was an unforgettable experience. The moment I stepped into my apartment, I was blown away by the stunning view—a perfect blend of lush greenery and the serene blue waters of the resort’s signature lagoon-style swimming pool, which was literally just behind my balcony. Waking up to the peaceful sight of the shimmering pool and having direct swim-out access from my balcony was an absolute dream. It felt like my own private oasis! The water was always crystal clear and perfectly maintained, making it ideal for a refreshing morning dip or a relaxing evening swim under the soft glow of the resort lights. The entire resort has a tranquil yet luxurious ambiance, with spacious, well-appointed rooms and modern amenities. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring everything was perfect throughout my stay."

"Stayed for 2 nights in a Superior Spa Suite. Quick, easy and friendly check in. The Suite was a great size - really big living area and bathroom. Very comfy king size bed. Great location between Nelson and Shoal bay. Lots of free parking. Would definitely stay again. "

"The Nelson is a great place to stay. Right in the middle of the main strip close to beaches ports and all the amenities and restaurants. The hotel it self is extremely well appointed and the staff are credit to the management. I highly recommend this hotel for any one staying in Nelson bay"

"The pool area is amazing, love that there is a spa too! Nice little cafe for breakfast if you need it. The upstairs deck looking onto the pool was closed when we were there, hopefully it’s open next time, looks like a great spot to have a couple of drinks after a long day!"
