"Hamachidorinoyu Kaisyu is a lovely onsen ryokan. The baths were outstanding, two indoor and two outdoor, one of hinoki wood and and one of stone, slightly different in temperature to accommodate most tastes. The water views were excellent, and soaring hawks could often be seen. The food was excellent and abundant. "The property is newly-furnished & we stayed at the 1st floor Japanese Tatami room - it was sparkling clean & the only downside of this property is not located at the Shirahama center but within 10 mins of driving. Highly recommended for those who self-drive!"
