"We had book the apartment for 14 days but ended up checking out five days early. Mostly because of heat, mosquitoes and/or bedbugs, and mildew smell. The positive. 1. We enjoyed the pool. 2. "Do NOT stay here. My taxi driver did not want to drive me to this hotel ad it is in the old part of Mombassa. I insisted. I did not realize this hotel had a 10 pm arrival deadline when i booked. I emailed the hotel and called them 4 times to let them know i would be arriving late. They never replied but did hang up the phone once when they answered without speaking with me. I was not able to access this hotel"

"Pros: -This is a very economical beach-facing unit if you are on a budget. -Nice king-size bed. -Nice TV and couch. -The interior of the unit is highly maintained. -The unit manager was quick to address any issues that might have come about. -Security is on point and willing to help with anything. Cons -The complex that the unit is in is very run down. This is no fault of the owner of this individual unit, it is a systemic issue. -Often infrastructure issues with the water heater not working...

"Coming back from a beutifull 15 days at Villa Soleil. I can not say enough praise for all the team at the villa that made our holiday worthwhile. Everything was spot on and the made us truly feel at home. Communication with Wolfgang as the owner was also great, nothing was too much a problem and arranged also a fantastic safari stay.
