"Great place to stay in Matsue. Super close to the train station, an easy 15-20 min walk to the Castle District. Lots of good restaurants and konbini available nearby. Rooms are small but very comfortable. Hotel is very clean and well-run. A great place to stay."

"Excellent location near station and many restaurants. There did not seem to be provision for separation of recyclables from general refuse within the hotel. The practice of using disposable cutlery and cups at breakfast is wasteful. A lot of plastic."

But...my request of having a corner and/or a room not in between two other active rooms was not honored. Then I got placed in a room next to the elevator.
