Good pub grub across the road, so no need to drive out after a busy day exploring the beautiful countryside. The cottage is comfortable, clean and very well equipped. "We stayed here as a family to celebrate my son’s 40th birthday and had a wonderful time. The house was immaculate and well equipped. The bedrooms were lovely, beds comfortable and tv, kettle and coffee/ tea making supplies in each room. The welcome pack was very generous with a selection of goodies that made the children’s eyes light up. Maybe the kitchen/ lounge diner was smaller than photos suggested but met all our needs. We walked to the local Hare and hounds to eat which had a varied menu...
