"Property is very clean and located in a perfect spot, just a short walk to indoor water park, and just a 5 minute drive to the starved rock hiking trails. Also conveniently stocked with all kitchen essentials you would need for a vacation "

"Everything was as advertised. We did have some minor issues with the heating unit but we figured it out eventually. Also, the dishwasher did not work but we only needed it at the end of our stay. I'm sure it'll get fixed."

"The location, space and surrounding were good but there were bugs including a wasp in one of the rooms which the management took time to come and clean up"

"The property is nice. Lots of games are provided to entertain the kids and adults. Air hockey and Mortal Combat were big hits.The location is a one-minute drive from the entrance to Starved Rock and four minutes from Matthiessen State Park. The trail entrance to the St. Louis Waterfall Trail is right across the street if you want a quick hike. Or you could take that trail and hike to the St. Louis visitor's center.Everything was clean, and it was nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit....

"My family and myself had a great time in this beautiful cabinA walk away from Great Bear lodge. Kids loved the indoor waterpark and huge arcade The cabin has everything we needed to have a perfect stay. We would definitely come back!!The arcade"

"I stayed here on a short trip with a friend's family. The exterior was lovely, and the interior had a nice atmosphere so that the children were happy the moment they opened the door. But more than that, the most comfortable thing was that even though we sent the owner many questions before staying, they were all answered so nicely. I would definitely like to stay here again if I have the opportunity."

"Perfect place to stay. My fiancé and I loved it. The location was close to starved rock, which made it even better. "

"This property was admittedly large for our needs, but everything else in the area was booked up, so we splurged. And we are glad that we did! It was exactly as described: remote, woodsy, and quiet. Just what we needed. The woodburning stove was the cherry on the top! Instructions for its use were clear and concise, right down to the sound of that the flue makes when opening. It was details like this that made our stay special."

"Nice place for larger gathering "

"Great little place. We stayed early in the week to hike starved rock so there was not a lot of action in the resort. We were a little bummed the blind wouldn’t stay up in the loft and there was no needle on the record player. That’s not enough to keep me from giving it a good review though. Would stay again. "

"Beautiful home and stay. Felt like they owners thought of everything.Everything was clean. We did find a toe nail and a used Qtip on the ground. But other then that is was a beautiful few days. We walked on the trails and went back to a cozy, tiny home. :)"

"Property is clean and located close to many things to do in the area. We spent a day at the waterpark in Grand Bear Resort, went to Cedar Creek Ranch for a horse ride, and did a hike at Matthiessen State Park. Will definitely come back again. "
