"Rush Creek Farm is a beautiful home and property. My spouse and I spent 3 nights there with our dog. We had a great time with our small group, but the house can easily accommodate many more people comfortably. The house was immaculately clean and furnished with everything we could possibly need. The kitchen was a joy to cook in, and the outdoor grill (Weber Genesis) was excellent. The beds and furnishings were extremely comfortable. The fireplace and deck were perfect for the early spring weather. We watched a gorgeous sunrise each day from the living room and primary bedroom. There are lovely views from every window - even the powder room and laundry room!There are so many ways to entertain yourselves while there; we enjoyed bags, shuffleboard, and hiking the miles of trails on the property, but we barely scratched the surface of things to do there. The location is excellent, close to Apple River Canyon State Park, Mississippi Palisades, Galena, wineries, and much more. We can't wait to come again, hopefully with a larger group next time. "
