From the moment you step inside this magnificent abode, you will be transported back in time to the era of 1930s Art Deco. Introducing Christie Mansion, a unique getaway filled with luxurious details at every turn and sea views that will take your breath away. The grand scale of the property makes for an excellent place to celebrate special occasions or reunions with family and friends, while a professional chef and a delivery of fine wine and champagne are also available to book throughout your stay.
The space
The experience begins with the Hallway, complete with herringbone parquet flooring, oak panelling and stained-glass windows, all of which set the scene for what the rest of the house has in store.

This property is accessible with dedicated wheelchair access and an en-suite wet room downstairs with grab rails and walk-in shower, ideal for less mobile guests.

Venture into the impressive drawing room, where you will find a selection of comfortable leather sofas, elegant décor and exceptional views of the garden and seascape beyond. Gather here for sociable occasions, games nights around the poker table or to sip the finest of wines with the soundtrack of your choice on the Sonos sound system. The Drawing Room and all bedrooms offer Smart TVs if you wish to watch your favourite programme with your morning coffee.

Meanwhile, the stunning dining room (seating 18 diners) provides the perfect setting for delicious banquets prepared by a top chef or special celebrations with your nearest and dearest. Plus, magnums of fine wine and champagne are available to pre-order and enjoy with your evening meal for that extra special touch.

Next door is the fully-equipped kitchen, complete with everything you could possibly need throughout your stay. There are three ovens, a microwave, a gas hob, a bread maker, a juicer, plenty of cooking utensils and cutlery and enough pots and pans for a banquet.

There is also a handy office room for remote working and the delightful Garden Room, which provides the perfect setting to enjoy your favourite book or admire the views.

Christie Mansion features six bedrooms, each with elegant 1930s décor and furnishings. Five of the bedrooms are on the first floor, three of which have access to the glorious sunroom/cocktail lounge. The Master bedroom is complete with a king-size bed imported from an Art Deco Parisian apartment and has an astonishing perspective to indulge in the morning sunrise over the sea. The family room, decorated in true 1930s Max Factor red, comprises a king-size bed, a single bed and an additional twin bed. There is also a double bedroom, a king-size bedroom with an en-suite, a further king-size bedroom and three modern shared bathrooms on the first floor.

On the ground floor, there is an accessible bedroom with a dedicated wheelchair entrance to the driveway. This room features twin beds, a wet room and an additional door that leads directly to the kitchen and access to the whole downstairs.
Outside, you will have access to a spectacular garden with striking feature ponds and two lawns, plus plenty of space for garden games and celebrations. There is also an 18-seater dining table for alfresco meals and a charming hidden path which leads to an additional seating area away from the house.
