LVSHOU Hotel
New hotel, well kept, clean, comfortable. However it is far from everything. Getting to the metro line is 15-20 which is a bit too far for my taste. Old town Qiboa is about 30 min on foot and well worth a visit.

No in downtown Shanghai
The hotel was clean with a big room and comfortable bed. The staff was extremely helpful and professional. The major problem was the location. Hotels.com maps showed the hotel in Peoples Square in downtown Shanghai. I eventually found the location from a different travel site. The major reason why I book this hotel. Additionally, the site claimed it was downtown and with 15 minutes walk of several major sites. This is not correct. Close to the Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport. It was about a hour subway ride to downtown Shanghai. I took a taxi at one point that was 45 mins in traffic and cost my around 100 yuan. This took too much of time and the additional cost diminished any saving for the property. Finally, the are two names for the hotel LVShou and Fuijian Hotel that made it difficult to map out my route before arrival. Spent at least an hour trying to find out where the hotel is actually located.

1) 如果早知道正進行裝修, 不會選擇此酒店。 2) 好大塵, 設施亦很舊, 房間窗簾關不上, 浴缸不夠干淨。 3) 不過早餐還是可以的。
