"Un pays ou on se sent bien, un proprietaire tres accueillant, apportant des beignets, des crepes, des peches, proposant son vin, donnant de bons conseils. Une jolie maison ancienne dans un village perché dans la montagne mais à 15 minutes de l autoroute et des plages. Tres bon sejour."

"The Villa Maria is amazing, we had a thoroughly relaxing time. The pool was very well used by us all but especially my 2 children, the Villa has everything you need for a stress free holiday. You definitely need a car as it is so remote but in our opinion this added to the charm. The owners Valmi and Andreja were fantastic throughout. I would highly recommend the Villa Maria, my youngest is 9 and she loved it. I would definitely stay again. Thank you Valmi and Andreja."

Small excursions to Koper, Izola, Piran, Cerkno as well as the surrounding small villages made this place a perfect destination to travel from. "We visited this area for a friends wedding and decided to make it a family vacation by spending some more days. With this house we could have easily made it a week or longer. The property is well maintained with a modern kitchen and enough clean pots pans to cook a lunch or dinner. There is lots to do for families and if not in the mood for any of the activities in the area, a day at your own pool is wonderful. We loved pickkng cherries from the tree and playing table-tennis. "Very nice villa in a great part of Istria for trying wine and eating great food. It is next to a really good local restaurant and their wine shop/ bar. You can reach Umags very chilled beaches in 20 minutes easy drive. Other wineries can be reached after a longer walk or short drive. The property had really good set up with loads of glasses, plates and pans. Definitely recommend."

"It was a wonderful house though a bit cold for the season (end of April). Breathtaking views of Isola and the bay of Trieste! Hot water boiler needs more tweaking and the jacuzzi didn't function. But the location is a gem, the facilities are abundant and the owners are very trustworthy."

2N couple get-away

"Safe and great location within the center, just about 8mins walk to Central Train and Bus Stations. 24-Hr reception with free Coffee/Tea at Dining Area. Clean and Comportable room size. Free BF with loads to choose however the fresh pastries caught my attention. High customer service from reception to kitchen staffs - Victoria, Pele, Ester and another lady from kitchen. High salute to Silvia and Marco both from reception, super helpful with queries and directions...extending efforts to fulfill your needs. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay back if given a chance. "

"We visited Trieste for 2 days and this was my first time in this city. The location of the hotel was fantastic, we walked everywhere! Also, it looks like the hotel was recently renovated, but everything was impeccable! The room was very spacious and beautiful! Highly recommended! "
