"There is the historic part of the hotel and the modern. We accidentally booked the historic side with no elevator and very small rooms. They were very accommodating and switched us to the modern side with elevators. They have a van that will also take you anywhere you wanna go in town."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Cable House. Plenty of room for 4 people. Tanguy & Sebastian were very responsive. Shower had lots of hot water with pressure. Bedding was very comfortable. The Seavey family (of Iditerod fame) run what I believe is the best sled dog tour in all of Alaska. Our young guide was very nice and knew all about the process of training and racing world-class dog/athletes.
