"Spent several nights at home for our anniversary. House was nestled in woods, away from it all and remote, which was just what we needed. Well maintained, clean, and quiet. Hot tub was a great touch and added to the Overall experience. We traveled to town for foods as needed. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a couples vacation. "

We found the door unlocked upon our arrival which was ok since it is so remote. We suspected something wrong when our door code wouldn't work the first morning of our stay when we returned from breakfast and could not get in. "What a weekend! Hurricane Helene came through on the first day of our stay. Autumn (owner) was fabulous with communication! We lost power and water (she warned us of the very likely possibility). Instead of hiking on the AT and biking on the Creeper Trail we spent our weekend helping neighbors. The house was wonderful and we have already planned a return visit. Thanks for everything!!"

"Our family stayed at the Wild Horse Lodge for a weekend getaway and it was perfect! It was enough room for all of us and convenient to all the activities we wanted to do (Grayson Highlands State Park, VA Creeper Bike Trail, Abington, etc). The arcade next door really sealed the deal for our teens (and grownups too)! We only wish we had one more night to try the theater. Thanks for a great weekend!"
