"Great apartment but the building is undergoing some massive renovation and there was a lot of noise during the day and construction scaffolds everywhere. Both balconies in the apartment had scaffolding out front so we couldn’t use them and had to keep the windows closed. The area isn’t great, typical university type vibe. Didn’t feel unsafe at all, but lots of graffiti. If we go back I’d probably choose a place closer to piazza maggiorie. "

First, when I first booked it appeared that the property was only 2-3km from the city, in fact it is 5km from the city center which is revealed only after you book. We asked for a 15.00h check in and had to wait outside an apartment complex not knowing if we were even at the correct property. There was only instructions on how to use the stove top. "What a find. On the Santo Stefano Square in the heart of the city, up only 1 flight of stairs, very spacious. The food in Bologna is amazing and the archetecture is stunning. "It was a single unit flat which we liked. It was absolutely good for privacy and quietness. The space inside the flat was very well organised, but small. It is close to the city, but at the same time quite and far from concrete and buildings. It was a pleasant stay, and with the good weather, in spring or summer it should be amazing! We staid in late October and it was rainy, so couldn’t enjoy the full potential of the property. "
