We were welcomed with marigold garlands and drinks, and the service was exceptional. We also tried the spa services, and the massage and bath were both relaxing and unique. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, away from everything, this is it! Rolf and Dini responded to our inquiries very quickly. Rolf was kind enough to allow for extra family members. Dini arranged all our transfers and excursions. (Best snorkeling we’ve seen in a long time). Ilu and assistants cooked wonderful meals every time. The only thing that worked against us was the weather in rainy season. The days of excursions it rained, The days we wanted to relax it was sunny so we enjoyed the property and pool! "This is a very interesting property….driving up the very narrow dirt road…we had the feeling that we made a wrong turn! Many private villas that compromise the resort….restaurants were exceptional- food and service outstanding and the spa was next-level!!! It was a bonus for us that we had one of only a handful of bungalows without a private pool….which meant we enjoyed nearly all to ourselves the 30 meter infinity edge pool with view of the sea and Java’s volcanoes ….was better than a private villa!!!! Not to be missed is the snorkeling day trip out to Menjangan island….clarity of water, so many live corals and incredible amounts of fish….gave us a bit of hope for our planet! Only downside is the vast amount of noise emanating from multiple nearby mosques….sounded like they were competing with one another…..🌠"
