"We have stayed at many five-star hotels around the world, but the service at The Shilla is truly in a league of its own. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and every staff member I encountered – including the valet attendants and service car drivers – spoke English to a high standard. If I had to identify a fault, which is difficult, it would be the use of individually plastic-wrapped cups in the rooms, which are replaced daily during servicing. This seemed excessive and not particularly environmentally friendly. Additionally, upon check-in, I was informed that the gym and indoor pool would be closed for renovations throughout the entirety of our stay. I clarified this several times, as it seemed unusual given that we had not been notified beforehand. However, I kept seeing guests dressed in gym attire in the lifts. On the fourth day, I enquired directly at the gym and was told that it had only been closed for one day. Unfortunately, due to this misinformation, we missed the opportunity to use the gym and indoor pool, which was disappointing."

Thank you for being so helpful and accommodating- thank you to the staff member that helped book the lotte hotel peninsula lounge for the strawberry buffet and the staff member that helped break our lock to our suitcase when we had lost our key. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back here again soon. Would recommend this aparthotel to everyone!! We had breakfast at the hotel on our last day and it was enjoyable. The rooftop was so pretty and had amazing views. "

"I love Toyoko Inn Hotels, knowing there is one in Gangnam neighborhood in Seoul It was my first option. Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Japanese comfort in Korea. Beds aré very comfy and has a great sleep. Pillows are the best pillows in any hotel chain. Buffet breakfast was great, lots of options: Western and Korean. Locations is super good in Gangnam neighborhood full of shops, restos, eateries, bars and people all day and night. "
