"Quick trip to Illinois for fall break. My family loved the house. We all had rooms on separate floors and with teenagers they loved it! The area was really nice. Enjoyed some hiking at nearby Starved Rock State Park and Matthiessen State Park. Also drove in to Chicago quick for a Bulls game. "

"We had an amazing time at this cabin! Perfect spot for a fishing trip with friends. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location by the river made it easy to fish right from the dock, and we loved relaxing by the fire pit in the evenings. Plenty of space for all five of us, and the peaceful surroundings were exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great outdoor getaway!"

"This house is AMAZING! It's very difficult to find 5 bedroom houses that are reasonably priced for our annual fall get together. We have family members from Ohio, Iowa, and Missouri that gather for a weekend of reconnecting and fun. The Kane Family Farm right next door to the house made this year's reunion one of the best. The game room is awesome, the bedrooms are huge, and beds are very comfortable. Overall, one of the best houses we have ever rented."

"We enjoyed the view from our rental and the quietness of the community. I was a bit disappointed in the condition of the rental. The furniture was in bad shape and the level of cleanliness was not to my standard. Kitchen table was wobbly and couch and chair were not comfortable. You could bounce in the chair when you sat down. "My kids, grandkids ages 8-17 stayed for 4 days in December. It was nice that the house was decorated. We enjoyed the hot tub and the ping pong table. We visited the Farnsworth House nearby which was really interesting!"
