"I planned a family reunion but this house was not ready and did not have the facilities promised for our event. There was a power outage the days before I arrived, but the owner told me he was able to get the cleaner there and everything would be ready. Instead I found the fridge full of rotting food, the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes and smelled horrible and there was no dishwasher detergent. "The cabins are fantastic. This was our second trip using the cabins. They a well-equipped and Cheryl and her husband make you feel right at home."

" Our original plan was to stay for just one night, but as soon as we arrived at the house, we knew we had to extend our stay. It’s impossible to spend just one night at such a beautifully designed and well-maintained lake house! "We stayed in the Lakeview building which is across the street from the main building. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was really nice with the dining room having a nice view of Cayuga Lake. What we really liked was the proximity to Taughannock Falls. We walked from the hotel directly to the trails leading to the Falls. You can also walk across the street to visit the park along the lake which has swimming, kayaks, etc. "
