This was by far the best experience we have had when it comes to taking a quick weekend getaway. The house and property was absolutely beautiful, quiet and loved being able to just walk enjoying the sunrises, sunsets and the many farm animals.
The house had everything you could imagine. We will definitely be back!
The house is extremely clean and comfortable. All you need to make your own meals is there and grocery stores and restaurants are nearby. The setting is peaceful and I loved hearing the rooster in the AM and seeing the cattle and donkeys during the day.
Tucker Farm Cottage is beautiful! We had a great experience. It’s like being in the country but not far away from restaurants if you don’t want to cook. We had time with my grandson in Clemson, had dinner out, and then to the house for porch sitting, visiting, lots of talking and laughing around the fire pit😊. It was a perfect stay!
We loved everything about staying at Tucker Farm. The home is so warm and comfortable. The location amid horses, cattle and acres of open space truly made for an exceptional ability to relax and unwind. Meghan was super responsive and made us feel welcome. Thanks for keeping the home well stocked, we had absolutely everything we needed to feel at home. We will definitely recommend Tucker Farms to others.
My sister and I stayed four days at the lovely cottage. This was my second time. I'll be going back again in the spring with my grandsons and enjoying some nearby river adventures with them. I know they will love the horses, cows and donkeys!!! Thanks, Meghan, for your prompt response to our questions! We really appreciated that.
We came down to Seneca, S.C. for Thanksgiving. My family and I were meeting in Fair Play on Lake Hartwell. I needed a kitchen to cook in and this kitchen was well-equipped to cook meals in! We brought our 2 small dogs, and this place allowed us plenty of beautiful walks with them. We were very comfortable and loved the scenic views of the farmland. I would definitely recommend Tucker Farms Cottage. Thank you for a wonderful holiday stay!
We adored this house and the stunning surroundings! We could only stay one night, and I hated to leave. I will be back! They had everything we needed. The front porch is where we hung out in comfortable chairs. The beds are like sleeping on a cloud. The kitchen is well stocked. The cows, horses and donkeys are so much fun to watch! Best VRBO rental ever! And I've stayed many places. Xoxoxoxo.
Awesome well kept older country home. We stayed at the Tucker Family Farm for two (2) nights for the GHSA High School Bass Fishing Tournament on Lake Hartwell. It is about 15 minutes from Broyles Boat Ramp, 15 minutes from Lake Hartwell Fishing and Marine Store and about 25 minutes from the Tugaloo State Park Mega Ramp. The cottage has a covered free-standing carport to keep a single boat covered from the weather and two (2) outdoor receptacles (75 foot power cord needed) for charging your boat. There are three (3) beds that will accommodate 6 adults (2 per bed). The cottage is well off the road on a private gravel drive. I would highly recommend the Tucker Farm Cottage if you are fishing a tournament on Lake Hartwell.
I have to say I hate to give a great review, because this is a gem of a place. Three great bedrooms, nice den with TV, kitchen, and super private and quiet. It was way better than I had anticipated and my four kids left saying how much they wanted to come back. We will be coming up there at least once a month over the next few months and we will come back and stay here. If you are looking for a nice, clean, comfortable, quiet space then this is for you.
As a side note, there were air mattresses with sheets and blankets, BUT the pump to blow them up was battery operated and the batteries were dead. If you plan to use the air mattresses I would recommend bringing your own pump.
A comfortable, quite, refuge from the busyness that was move in week at Clemson University. Loved our time there. Meghan was quite responsive and went out of her way to return some items we inadvertently left behind.
Would definitely stay again!
Thank you Meghan.

Meghan was quick to respond to any questions we had. Thank you for a great stay. You will enjoy this home. It is in the country and the surroundings are peaceful and quiet.
This farm property is absolutely gorgeous! The views from the front and back porches were beautiful. The house was so welcoming and warmly decorated. This place exceeded all of our expectations. We will be renting it again soon!
Very rural, woke up to the crowing of a rooster and mooing of cows. Wow--really great to get away from city noise . Have already booked for a return visit.
This is the perfect farmhouse getaway. Clean, charming, welcoming, and nothing has been overlooked. How wonderful to sit on the front porch with a cup of coffee and watch the baby cows playing in the fields! It feels like a special family treasure. Thanks for sharing it with us!
This was the perfect place to retreat to after a busy day in Clemson. We enjoyed having coffee on the front porch watching the cattle and admiring the quiet, expansive view. We will definitely be back!
