"The farmhouse is OK. Host is very friendly and helpful. But the second night we didn't have hot water at all and found a pretty big scorpion and a tarantula on the wall and on the ceiling."

"Hidden down a dirt road awaits a rural escape. This was a great place to stay, comfortable, private and surrounded by nature. The location is only a 15 minute drive to La Fortuna and a 5 minute walk to the grocery store. Our Host responses were prompt and we highly recommend."

"This upper level of a two-story condo has such a beautiful tree house feel. We loved all the windows and jungle sounds. It was clean and well-equipped and we didn't hear any noises from the neighbors around us. Beds were very comfy. A lovely 15-minute drive back into Monteverde. It felt secluded without feeling isolated and is near many options for tours of all kinds. Highly recommend!"

"Quite place, it's a gravel road to the house. Unfortunately there are lots of bugs that get into the house, especially at night. Understanding it's on the country. Would I stay again, probably not."
