We include an interactive map with a QR code that’ll geolocate all the most important places of interest and make it really easy for you to get around using your mobile. And we'll be on hand for you 24/7 to help you to get the most out of your stay.

Hiring a vehicle is essential, as although the house is only 2 km from the village of Costitx, and 5 km from Sencelles, there are no convenient public transport links.
Costitx is an inland village where you have all the facilities you’ll need; there are two bars, a restaurant, two supermarkets, a chemist, two banks, two hairdressers, a beauty centre, a bakery and a gift shop.
On 1 May there's a flower festival, the Fira en Flor de Costitx, that's not to be missed. The locals all get together to decorate the streets with flowers and greenery – it's a festival that’s unique in Mallorca and is very popular with people from all over the island.
In the local area you'll find Son Corró, the Talayotic sanctuary where the famous bulls of Costitx (in the Mallorquín language, "caps de bou”) were found. These are very large bulls' heads cast in bronze that have huge symbolic and archaeological value, and are today kept in the National Archaeological Museum in Madrid. Centuries later it became a Muslim farmhouse in the Qanarûsha district, and when lands were distributed after the conquest of the island by the Crown of Aragon, it was given to Guillermo II de Bearn.
In Costitx you'll also find the Astronomical Observatory (open on Fridays and Saturdays by appointment). The observatory will shortly be celebrating 28 years of continued effort in research, innovation, technological development and discoveries, making it the astronomical observatory that has made the greatest number of direct discoveries in the history of Spanish astronomy.
Sineu is a small town close by, just 6 km away. Here you'll find a wide range of restaurants, and there's a market every Wednesday where they sell livestock that's not to be missed. This makes it unique on the island, and the kids will love it.
At around 8 km from the house lies the town of Inca, which is the heart of the Mallorcan leather industry. If you're a fan of Camper shoes, this is where their head office is. There's also a market every Thursday that's great for buying fresh fruit and vegetables. Inca is where the larger supermarkets like Mercadona, Aldi, Lidl, Müller and Hipercentro can be found.
Just a 30-minute drive away you'll find the best beaches on the island. Be sure to check out Colónia de Sant Jordi, Colónia de Sant Pere, Playa de Formentor, Cala Mondragó, Cala Comtessa, etc.
You'll fall in love with the stunning turquoise blue waters.
There are also some well-known towns and villages we recommend you visit: Valldemosa, Sóller, Deiá, Fornalutx, Bañalbufar, Petra, Sineu, Manacor, etc.
