Lovely resort in Seminyak. Traffic makes the whole of Bali experience unpleasant. The secret is to stay in the resort and leave to go to the airport.

We had a lovely stay over NYE at the Seminyak Resort. The resort is old and could do with a refresh however the amenities were great and the staff were lovely. There isnt much to do at the hotel when its raining which we experienced as the Christmas and NYE period is predominantly in their rainy season. It would be great if there was a lounge/cafe with a pool table or chill music to relax rather than just going to our room when the rain is torrential. Overall we had a great stay at the Seminyak Resort, its a perfect spot to relax when the sun is out and is in a convenient location to all the best restaurants and bars in Seminyak.

The staff is incredible. The breakfast is incredible. Pool and beach area top notch (yes you can play in the giant waves, just be careful and do not venture out too far as there is a tremendous undertow). It is on yhe more expensive side for Bali, but absolutely worth it.
