"The property Towels were hard and dirty, The room had small roaches which is what it is your in a jungle ! Mosquito’s the worst was the outdoor light never turned of it was like sleeping with sonar lights on it seemed like it was morning but it was midnight, Turn off the lights outside OFF, C’mon you get what you pay for- Update your jogolo’s ac made weird noises at night, But the interesting thing was you could get Netflix Welcome to Borabodur "

"I love the place, really! But the staff and breakfast was disappointing. I wanted to have a Cappuccino and she told me that she was alone and the other will come at 10 am. But she has time to play with her mobile phone all the time. Well, it was breakfast time. Suppose to have Tea and any kind of coffee ready during the time. But the property is awesome. Quite and antique."

"Nice , comfortable, room in a great location. Great value, without its bells and whistles that you normally found in a hotel. Rooms is rather small bits comfortable with great bedding and mattresses. Lobby hotel has coffee and hot water option. I stayed at second floor, it’s quiet, perfect place to crash and I will not recommending it for a long stay. You got what you paid for. I will be back "

"Gopalan has a lovely location with views out over rice fields. The rooms are clean and well-appointed, but there were small gaps between walls and door frames/ windows whicj some might find disconcerting - rustic charm is more accurate. There's a bit of a water shortage in the area at the moment, though I dont think the locals want to mention it but we had to contact reception twice to let them know we had no water. "Tropical paradise. Lush greenery, flowers and butterflies everywhere. Wonderful gym facilities, pool and grounds. They have a nice spa that offers massages at a decent rate. Both Western and Indonesian food are available in the restaurant. Laundry service is fast and reasonable. Staff are friendly and helpful. The family room was large and comfortable and stayed cool even without and AC - although we did have one and used it at night. Rooms have a water kettle, tea and coffee and a refrigerator. A great stay!"

An exceptional heritage hotel to Yogyakarta

"The interior from the entrance to reception and lobby has a spacious character of a forest. Muted colour grace the ID peppered with Batik elements and sympathetic art works streaming to the bedrooms. The pool in the podium block is breath taking in quiet intimacy with the landscape, bringing you away from the madding crowds. Such a pleasure to celebrate our vacation with this project which reflects timelessness between tradition and modernity. Congratulations to the architects. A+!! "

"The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room is located at 7flr and the restaurant is on the 8flr just above our room. During our stay there, we are always awaken by the noise above as the restaurant is getting ready for breakfast every morning. "
