They even had bunnies and chickens which thrilled our children. Our room was way outdated. I would have preferred one of the more modern rooms. The hallways were covered in so much art it was overwhelming. The wifi was terrible and very limited per day. "The hotel is very smart and, although has a lot of rooms, never felt especially busy. It’s a 25-35’ walk to town (uphill on the way back) but the two helpful shuttle buses mean the only challenge is getting home from dinner. The gym and spa area and gym are large and excellent. Most importantly, all the staff were fantastically friendly and fell over backwards to look after you."
