The man at the front desk thought my boyfriend wanted to rent a room, my boyfriend was telling him he was arriving late, the man did not understand and so my boyfriend went outside to call me, the man followed my boyfriend to the door and locked the door behind my boyfriend, after I had come down and retold the man that he was with me and that he was arriving late and that I had told the day staff about this, he let my boyfriend in and needed my boyfriend's ID and his signature, after my boyfriend and I returned to our room."
