"The Mariposa was perfect from the start, even during our planning. They assisted us in our trip plans from Belize City to Placenia by booking our flights and providing information. They also provided transportation from the airport to the resort. When we arrived, we were greeted by staff and a tropical cocktail or mocktail. Our accommodations in the tree house exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had plenty of amenities. It is also beautiful. The staff was friendly, courteous, helpful, accommodating, and resourceful. The food and drinks at the restaurant on premises were delicious. There was a good variety of options as well as some authentic Belizean dishes. When I travel outside the U.S., I enjoy experiencing other cultures. We were able to do that at the Mariposa. I’d like to mention that George, Miguel, Donny, and Gladys were exceptional. They went out of their way each and every time we wanted or needed anything. Donny really took special care of us in all aspects of our trip- food, recommendations for tours and places to eat or drink or shop. Gladys coordinated our tours for when we wanted to do them.
