They were most helpful throughout our stay with info regarding restaurants, directions, parking, sights to see, etc. "

From the first interaction, they, especially Catarina, were incredibly friendly, helpful and helped us settle right in to Coimbra. Then there's the property itself. The original stone walls and arch ways, the VIEWS and the furnishings are just breathtaking. Out of all the places we stayed in Portugal during our 10 day trip, this was the location we wished we could go back to most. Cannot recommend highly enough. "

"Basic, clean and comfortable hotel. All the essentials. Spent one night. Everyone at the hotel was accommodating. They have free parking in a parking structure diagonal from the hotel. Very easy to access. Breakfast was sufficient, with nice views of the city."

"This is an excellently located property, So perfect for a visit to the Coimbra University which is just up the very steep street. We loved this historical hotel. All check in is done virtually so please, read the instructions they send you before arrival all the information is there and it is simple and accurate. They give you a code both for the front door and for your room. The room looked onto the beatiful main street, and walking around town was very easy. climbing to the University can be challenging but so worth it and the center of town is just steps from the hotel. Take advantage of the one-hour city tour 'train' that starts on the center square of the University."
