"I have been traveling to Tampa area for work for nearly 25 years and I have stayed at many different hotels, this house was much nicer and had all the comforts of home, no horrible smoke or moldy smelling rooms, everything was clean and comfortable the bathroom was perfect and . The check in process was fast and convenient. I will definitely be staying here again soon. In addition to the comfortable room I also saved money compared to the local hotels."

"Mofe is a welcoming and considerate host. The home is 100 years old and has some quirks, which I love. I've started traveling with an extension cord which comes in handy in older homes where outlets are not as frequent and/or easy to access as newer builds. It's very well equipped and has a wonderful deck attached. Only wish it had a bit warmer so I could have enjoyed it more. Thanks again, Mofe!"

"This place is HORRIBLE. The neighborhood is scary. The floor is unsafe and you feel like the floor may fail. The ceiling is buckled and looks like it will fall. There is cardboard instead of glass in one window. There is black mold in the bathroom. You can not shower there! There's a random light that stays on and you can't turn it off. The TV is set on blast and you cant turn it down because the remote is busted and missing buttons. Easily, the WORST stay, anywhere that I've ever had. DO NOT...

"I was driving my daughter down from NY into Lakeland and needed a place close to the main area of Lakeland. I couldn’t have picked a better place! The location is excellent, but most importantly was the place where we stayed. It’s cozy, but gives you everything and more, that’ll you’ll need. I especially loved the small details that have been added to make your stay special. I look forward to coming back to Lakeland and definitely staying here again. "

"-Easy access to/from highway -Initial thought from outside: house was rundown and needed upkeep. -Neighborhood not as bad as other reviews made it seem. -Wasp situation needs to be taken care of -Inside was also rundown but main areas were relatively clean such as beds but overall aspect of house created doubts on how clean things actually were. -Wasn’t the most comfortable but dealt with it for a night. Beds for example, not being able to sit on a couch."

"Still trying to get things back to normal after the hurricanes. The only bad thing was the outdoor waterside patio is destroyed. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and plan on returning this year. "

"We LOVED this place we only stayed 1 night wish it was more. Check in was quick and easy. Staff so friendly and welcoming. Property is amazing. They did get hit by the recent hurricanes so there was some damage but they are getting it fixed. We didn't feel like we were in a hotel. They offer a social hour m-th of soup and salad and beer and wine I've never had that before it was amazing. Also there was breakfast hot and cold. Also they have transportation for a 5 mile radius.. "We admit that we have stayed at the Hotel Tampa Riverwalk (the old Sheraton) for the past 3 years because it was on the Riverwalk. So happy they canceled this year. We took the suggestion from our adult kids who stayed at your hotel for Gasperilla in 2024. We were pleased with your location, timeliness of check-in, breakfast, friendly staff and the overall vibe of your hotel. We are looking to book in early May for graduation. THANK YOU!"

Great stay.

"All of the folks at Tahitian Inn made us feel comfortable and welcome. They were very helpful as we needed some things printed off for our cruise. No questions asked just very friendly. We will probably stay again. I was surprised how convenient it was to lots of places to eat. The bed was comfortable. I would recommend a couple of pictures on the wall in the living area as there is no window and just a little better lighting in there. It was a little boring in there. The TV worked great. We appreciated that. Not high end. But very sufficient for us. Oh, and the pool area was fun with the huts. And breakfast was good."

Amazing customer service

"This is a beautiful hotel, which I have stayed in before. Unfortunately on my arrival I slipped and fell pretty badly on the pavement outside the hotel. The staff were so lovely and kind - they rushed outside to help me, and to make sure I was ok. They then upgraded me to a suite, and made sure to check in on me on the days that followed. Thanks to all the staff for your concern and kindness, and for making me feel very cared for. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Tampa."
