"The hotel and staff were amazing. The restaurant was great. We were notified that the rooms didn’t have bathrooms before we arrived, but when rating the hotel I have to deduct for that reason. It wasn’t too bad for us because we stayed during the week during a slow season, but if it was full the bathroom situation could be very difficult. Other than that the hotel and Restaurant was great. "

"Darling cottage, well appointed and right next door to The Fig Cafe ( excellent and reasonable) Check in a bit confusing but all worked out fine. Nice shared outdoor seating area"

"Our stay was quite unique ..it was our first time there in this lovely country boutique style bed-and-breakfast. The food is lovely and the people are even more delightful! However, we were there when the power was out and it did not come back on the entire time we were there. Staff brought candles into every room and bathroom and made sure everybody had a flashlight or lantern and really made the best of it. They got a generator going for basic needs such as flushing toilets etc. They brought...

"What a wonderful place to get away. Michael, the host was so friendly and told us the history of the castle. This was a four day getaway with friends and we would love to go back as soon as possible. The home was warm and cozy very unique. The amenities were perfect. first class beddings something you would expect in a five star hotel. Great kitchen with everything you can possibly need to prepare a meal.. We can’t wait to go back!"

"The view from the room was beautiful. The room was very comfortable and easily accessed. We reserved an "accessible" room; however, while the room and entrance were accessible, the room had a bathtub, not a walk-in shower with a drop-down chair, as all other accessible rooms have. This was the only negative but a big one if you have any disability. I would suggest that management correct this or not describe the room as accessible. At the very least, explain that the room has a tube and no sitting accommodations. Short of that a wonderful time and we will stay there again."
