Amazing Rental Property
Went on a two week trip to the PNW. West Seattle was our first stop And we stayed at the Alki BeachHouse for our first two nights. Originally, we were going to stay three nights, but then we decided we wanted to make an extra stop on our trip so we cut it back to two. There was no hassle. Janet gave us a full refund for that extra night and actually now I wouldn’t have minded staying another extra night because it was so cool there. We could not have found a better place to stay. It is the cutest cleanest place and so close to the beach. If I were to return back to Seattle, I would definitely stay here. It has a wonderful little patio area that we sat out on the two nights we stayed. We received so many compliments from people walking by about how pretty the property was. So many extra amenities that we didn’t even use like things for the beach, including beach chairs; a log in the fireplace, which we also did not use. The location is great. We took the water taxi over to downtown Seattle and the free bus to get to the water taxi. Everything is so easy. West Seattle Beach Was fun and safe feeling. We saw a cool otter and the fires in the large fire pits along the beach that evening were really cool too. Not to mention great food! This is a gem of a place to stay and the price was very reasonable for what you get.

Wonderful Stay!
We had a fantastic stay at this cute Alki Beach house for the start of our Washington vacation! Location was fantastic-very easy to take water taxi to downtown Seattle. Very clean. Very comfortable for 3. We had all that we needed! Property owner was fantastic-provided lots of helpful information about the area. Street parking was manageable. We would love to stay here again!

The Best Get Away
Janet and her husband are amazing. This was my first time using vrbo and they were so welcoming and made it all a breeze! The home is absolutely beautiful and cozey. The landscaping is beautiful. The location is perfect with food and fun everywhere. My partner proposed to me on the patio and it was perfect. Highly recommend and we will be bacck! .

Great location and a lovely little house.
Originally we wanted to spend the last night or two of our National Parks trip in downtown Seattle, but the lodging costs were outrageous, so I expanded the search and found this little gem in West Seattle, just off Alki Beach. Clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. The living area and bedroom were larger than I expected, although I will say that the bathroom was tight (a tall person would find it hard to get around). But that was the only minor drawback. We enjoyed the little patio space. The location is perfect. Very short walk to the beach and the local restaurants. There is a bus that runs around the area, including to the water taxi that provide access to downtown Seattle, be we enjoyed the walk along the shore (about 2.5 miles from the house to the ferry pier and just a little farther to Salty’s (seafood restaurant with good food and nice views of the Seattle skyline). Janet was great to work with. She met us at the house to show us around and answer any questions. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. I would definitely stay here in the future.

Lovely stay on Alki beach
We had a lovely stay on Alki Beach in this cute and perfectly located house. We were only minutes away from the beach; multiple restaurants, including fine dining, and a bus that would take us to the water taxi to downtown Seattle.

Loved our weekend in this beach cottage!
We had a wonderful stay in this cute cozy clean home. The bed was comfortable with high quality linens. The sofa was also comfortable. Janet is a considerate host. Another Great Stay!
I booked Alki House for a weekend stay in west Seattle. This was my second stay, and it was just as pleasant as the first. What a lovely little beach getaway! The house was superbly appointed, immaculately clean and cozy to boot. The location can’t be beat, just a block from the beach and restaurants. Though tiny, it served as a perfect gathering spot for dinner and game night with friends. The attention to details was much appreciated, including new salt and pepper, fresh and plentiful linens and even a tiny makeup remover towel in the bathroom. Plenty of dish ware,utensils and glassware. We could not have picked a better spot. Janet was an excellent host and it is obvious that she cares and respects her property. I will definitely consider booking here again in the future.

Super home with great Beach location
We had a lovely stay at Alki House. Janet was so welcoming and went through everything with us and nothing was too much trouble. The house is well presented and clean. Bed was very comfy and the garden area was a great place to chill after a busy day exploring the local area. We have been very comfortable here.
