"What a find! This stunning house on the sea front surpassed our expectations. Spacious, spotless and scenic. Michael’s communication with us was spot on and we even had option of early check in and late check out. I would not hesitate to return as the location was also fabulous! Lots of lovely places to eat around and we were very fortunate with the weather for January so could enjoy the beautiful views and the hot tub! Perfect weekend!"

"We had a fabulous stay at Ashside Cottage. We were welcomed by Richard and Caroline who gave us a tour of the house and filled us in on places of interest in and around the area. The cottage was beautiful with parts dating from 16th century. It had everything we needed, including home baked bread. "This property is in a convenient location on a main bus route to the city centre. There is also street parking if needed. The house itself is in some need of refurbishment- stained and flaking paintwork. Damaged flooring and furniture. Front door is difficult to lock and unlock. In terms of equipment it is very poorly appointed. This property should host 4 people there were only 3 plates, no spoons, 1 saucepan, no bottle opener - I could continue. There is an iron but no ironing board....

"We had a group of seven, including two children, and stayed for a week. The property is a semi-detached house in a quiet area near a cul-de-sac. Check-in was very easy thanks to a secure key box, which was especially helpful since our flight was delayed due to a CrowdStrike issue. "Aileen and family were fantastic hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The cottage was great, the location was fantastic, and the information in the guest handbook was brilliant. We will certainly be going back, for at least a week next time. We also used the trip to obtain a PET Passport for our puppy Juke. And and after advice from the hosts, Liam the Vet in Kilkeel (Mourne Vets) was very accommodating, and not to expensive, so happy days. Believe me you will not be disappointed. Thanks Aileen...
