"We had a fabulous stay at Ashside Cottage. We were welcomed by Richard and Caroline who gave us a tour of the house and filled us in on places of interest in and around the area. The cottage was beautiful with parts dating from 16th century. It had everything we needed, including home baked bread. Only one bathroom for 9 people in 5 bedrooms. Located 30 minutes driving time to Belfast. Parking on street or at church. Very cute cafe shop located across the streets with delicious fresh homemade donuts. Room were clean."

"Awesome This house is perfect for a family. Great spaces, super kitchen, family room and three bedrooms. All excellent. The host was so quick on communication, and suggested some great places to eat and suggested to reserve at these places as they are very busy. We did and where not disappointed. This is a dream for hikers as the national park is across the street. It is a gem. Thanks for a great stay!!"

"What a find! This stunning house on the sea front surpassed our expectations. Spacious, spotless and scenic. Michael’s communication with us was spot on and we even had option of early check in and late check out. I would not hesitate to return as the location was also fabulous! Lots of lovely places to eat around and we were very fortunate with the weather for January so could enjoy the beautiful views and the hot tub! Perfect weekend!"

"We had the best stay at this accomodation. Such a beautiful and modern house with everything we needed for a couple of nights away. Lovely welcome pack left by the hosts and friendly communication with them too. Location was also brilliant and we walked to local cafes, restaurants and forest parks. Short drive to Newcastle as well. Highly recommend. "

"Aileen and family were fantastic hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The cottage was great, the location was fantastic, and the information in the guest handbook was brilliant. We will certainly be going back, for at least a week next time. We also used the trip to obtain a PET Passport for our puppy Juke. And and after advice from the hosts, Liam the Vet in Kilkeel (Mourne Vets) was very accommodating, and not to expensive, so happy days. Believe me you will not be disappointed. Thanks Aileen...
